120 Film Too Small for Folding Zeiss Ikon Camera?
Recently bought a roll of
Ilford FP4 PLUS 125 ASA Black & White 120 film
Tried to load it to my Zeiss Ikonta 250/2 but it appears to be too small. Not long enough to reach both ends, and it looks as though it won’t pass the lens correctly.
Can anyone help? What have I done wrong??
THANKYOU!!
Sorry, yes, I do mean the 520/2. Typo.
And what I was trying to say is that the spool is not physically long enough to reach both ends of the ‘cavity’ and clip into both ends.
I’m sorry if i did not articulate this well, I am not a camera expert.
I assume you mean the Ikonta 520/2 as that is the only one I can find http://elekm.net/pages/cameras/ikonta520-2.htm
I have absolutely no idea what you mean by not “long enough” and “won’t pass the lens correctly”.
The film loads into the back of the camera, then the leader is put into the take up spool again in the back of the camera. There is only 2-3 inches between the film spool and the take up spool. I have no idea what you are actually trying to do if you are trying to “pass the lens” or it is not long enough.
This is not the exact same camera but the principal is the same to load the film.
