xlr camcorder adapter
How do I connect a microphone to the LAV my camera so I have no XLR connection?
I thought that using 1 / 8 "plug phone to XLR female adapter. would that work?
They tell us what your camcorder. If your camcorder has a 1 / 8 "(3.5 mm) connector audio and microphone uses an external XLR connector, then yes, using this "tail" should work – but I do not recommend it. It is too easy starin too much at this point and break the 1 / 8 "plug cacorder of Jack. Using an XLR adapter (such as juicedLink or BeachTek) is highly recommended. They also have the advantage provide readily available to the audio gain control buttons / and provide a Mono / stereo switch so if the lavalier microphone is mono (and the single-channel recording on your camcorder is connected to the "tail"), put the switch on the stereo XLR adapter and recording the same two-channel audio.
