How many ferrets do you have?
Tell me about your ferrets… Their names, colors, were you got them from and were they live…
I have 7. Their names are Twitch (Black Roan Panda), Ripley (chocolate), Keola (Black Roan Mitt), Ciera (Mutt), Luna (Chocolate), Chandon (diluted Chocolate) and Dice (Sable). Most of mine came from rescues or I rescued them from people that neglected them. They live in a 6x8x10 insulated/lighted/heated shed in my backyard. Its got climbing posts and lots of tunnels. I have five – Dodger, Zoey, Sammy, Chloe, and Cooper. Dodger and Cooper came from pet shops, the other three were adopted from people that no longer had time for them (in Sammy’s case) or got them and decided a month later that they didn’t want a ferret (in Zoey and Chloe’s case). They’re kept in a three-story Ferret Nation cage, but they’re out of their cage the majority of the time I’m home. They don’t get free-roam of the house, we have an over-grown puppy that would probably hurt them in the process of trying to play with them, so most of their out-of-cage time is spent in my room or the ‘critter’ room. I try to mix it up and also give them time in the kitchen, living room, and even the bathroom (so they don’t get bored with one room).
Anyway, colors & patterns:
Dodger – he’s the only one I can’t figure out, but I believe he’s a mutt
Zoey – sable standard
Sammy – black-eyed white striped
Chloe – champagne point
Cooper – chocolate standard
