sony digital camera drivers vista
drivers for sony camera.?
I have a Sony digital Handycam DCR-TRV350 NTSC Digital 8 camera. I have a Vista Home Premium SP1 with USB 2.0 and a tiny jack (looks like it says I394) firewire? Idk but the installation cd wont work on vista and I need a driver so the camera will be recognized by the computer… Any ideas?
… i dont want to buy a new camera. just a driver for it. the people at best buy/radioshack deal in hardware.
i checked the site again and it said drivers are on vista already… not the case. and im not able to download them from the site either.
According to Sony’s website, this is a known issue with Vista.
Take a look at http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/news-item.pl?&news_id=128&mdl=DCRTRV350#gen to get their take on using the Digital8 with Vista. It will not work at all with Vista starter Edition, and is not guaranteed to work with other Vista versions.
