samsung battery camcorder
Camcorder cleaning tapes?
I have been given a SAMSUNG VP-D903D camcorder, it appears to be an older one and when i google it all i get it battery battery battery i don’t need a new battery!! It wont playback the tape that is in it it just comes up a blue screen, so it says that’s because the head something need cleaning – so i need a head cleaning tape that fits this – anyone know where I can get one to fit it as there doesn’t seem to be any for it?
Hi there your camcorder is a mini-dv camcorder, so any Mini-dv tape cleaner will work.

Only use it for 10 seconds and then try it, Use a new tape, try to record and play back, if you use the old tape you may dirty the heads again. you can do this up to 3 times, if it still does not work you may need to get the heads cleaned by hand, or the heads are damaged.
