How to determine correct wireless adapter?
There were hard drives exchange yesterday between two laptops and IBM T40 Now my laptop does not connect to my wireless router. I use the Ethernet connection very well and said the card is called Intel (R) pro/100VE. When select the function F5, is a note that said IBM wireless adapters are not installed on this. my MacBook system connects very well with my wireless router like the other T40 laptops. Can anyone tell me if there is a driver or adapter or something that could be downloaded to the wireless radio on the laptop so you can use the wireless function? I tried to understand myself through the following link in the IBM Web site, but I'm afraid of downloading the wrong thing and worse things. http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-52527 I have Windows XP Pro with Service Pack 2. Thanks for any help.
Go lenovo.com support section to give your machine type and model to go for software downloads and install Lenovo software update to run, select the drivers Wireless in the list
