jvc dv camcorder software
JVC camcorder help!!! cannot be read by computer. Dont know what to do?
i have a JVC GR-D850U mini dv camcorder. i have the firewire cable and my computer has 2 firewire ports. The camera didn’t come with any kind of software that i know of and every time i go into movie maker or other programs my computer never picks it up. ive been trying to figure this out for some time now and thought id ask here. plz help it will be greatly appreciated:)
LittleDog’s suggestions should work, but if they don’t, try this:-
Go into Device Manager (Control Panel / System / Hardware)
Expand the IEEE1394 Bus host controllers, right click on your device and uninstall it. If it’s not there to start with, you’ve got a problem!
Shut down your PC.
Connect the camcorder, switch it to play and reboot your PC. You should see messages coming up as the card and then the camcorder are detected.
