Anyone? Anyone? No "spiral" I know what "roll" is. It sounds great and is used in a context of reference another camera / video terminology but I find nothing to verify with the network – is simply a term fishermen to use the basket, and refers to a piece on a sewing machine.

The second definition given found the thread. Creel (KRL) KEY noun: A wicker basket, especially used by anglers for carrying fish. A frame for holding bobbins or spools in a spinning machine. Not necessarily a sewing machine. I heard the word "Creel" is used to describe the coil or coil that is used to roll on a set while in complete darkness or in a bag in development. The trap is in development can be attached to the film. The goal is to keep the film from touching itself while in the solution. The trap is then turned of a spin or a button or crank, is connected while the roll of film. This action is mixed and saturates the film until it develops.
