Can I use a 4-pin to 4-pin IEEE 1394 cable to hook up a DV camcorder to my inspiron 1520 notebook.?
I used to use a 4-pin to 6-pin on my old dell desktop. I would plug the 4 pin side into the camcorder and the 6-pin into the firewire port on my computer sound card. Now i have a notebook and i noticed a 4 pin port on the side of it, can i get a 4-pin to 4-pin cable and hook up my camcorder to the laptop”?
