download camcorder video to pc
The video can not download from Panasonic MiniDV Camcorder to a PC? Model PV-GS31?
I had this problem for some time. I downloaded the latest drivers more than enough time for Windows XP, and behaves as if it is downloaded. When I connect the camcorder, makes a noise as if it recognizes the camera, but then nothing happens? The fact is nobody knows how I can import video? What else should I try if you reinstall the drivers do not work? On the PC a "Disco removable drive "appears when you connect the camcorder, but when I click on it just says" Insert Disk "… which of course is false. help?
If you have a mini DV (tape) camcorder …. The DV camcorder you need a FireWire (IEEE 1394) to download video, your PC probably does not come with a port FireWire, so you should buy one and install it, since most computers (except possibly new) do not come with a FireWire port, your camcorder will not come with a FireWire cable so you must also buy a cable. The camcorder does not come with a USB cable that is used for downloading stills from your camcorder. Sure that the camera is in playback mode. The small print in the manual refers to FireWire (IEEE 1394).
