what the is the best value digital Camera to buy at the moment for everyday use? (UK)?
Im about to have my first child and need a really reliable digital camara but can’t afford to spend much! Anyone know of any good deals around at the moment? I don’t know much about camaras, I’m just looking for one thats reasonably priced, takes good pics and doesn’t use up batteries too quickly (we currently have an HP one which lets you take about 15 photos before it flashes up ‘battery low’ – its so frustrating!)
I’d highly recommend to use rechargeable NiMH AA batteries on digital cameras that takes AA batteries. Alkaline batteries do not have enough power and they are not good for the environment when you dispose them.
With a pair of fully charged NiMH AA batteries, most cameras can take more than 100 shots.
If you want a new camera, you can take a look of Canon A590 IS. This is a 8 megapixel camera with 4x zoom and image stabilization. This also uses AA batteries. Another one is Canon SD1100 IS. This one is smaller but uses a Li-ion rechargeable battery.
