Boxing Day 2009 will bring along awaited Nokia N900 Nokia mobile phone. Nokia has recently announced that its mobile device N900 will be available in stores Carphone Warehouse retail on December 26th (Boxing Day), the day after Christmas. The Vodafone has the Nokia N900, 7 January 2010.
Both Carphone Warehouse and Vodafone have already started taking pre orders, but will actually make an entry Carphone long before Vodafone in London, the UK market.
The N900 is the latest in a series of Nokia's Linux-based mobile devices. Be the first is based on cellular voice and data capabilities, making it a smart phone, whereas previous models had only Wi-Fi.
Nokia said the new platform Maemo 5 is a PC as the computing experience by a factor of cell mobile form.
Specifications of the Nokia N900
The Nokia N900 has a 3.5 inch high resolution touch screen along with a full slide querty keyboard. It also has web browser Mozilla, Ovi, Nokia Maps and the Adobe Flash Player 9.4. The phone has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash and Geo tagging.
It is based on ARM Cortex – A8 processor with 1GB memory and 32GB of storage applications that can be extended upto 48GB with a microSD card slot.
Lets wait for the reviews of Nokia N900, which will decide if the phone is a success or a failure.
Contracts for smartphone Nokia N900 starts at a price of 35 pounds based on a 2 year deal to get a free Nokia N900, which also includes 900 minutes, together with the texts and unlimited landline calls.
