canon hf20 camcorders
Does anyone know anything about HD Camcorders?
I just bought the Canon HF20. The software (Pixela) doesn’t seem to work with a 64 bit operating system. It took 3 hours to upload 10 minutes of video. Then, when I went to edit, the software crashed and I can’t seem to get it to run again.
I installed Pixela at work, and it only took 30 seconds to upload the videos on an older XP machine. However playback just won’t happen because the processor is too slow. And nowhere does Pixela give the option to convert to .avi format.
Before I throw the camera out a window at a moving car, any advice? Is there better software that DOES work with a 64 bit operating system?
Pixela only supports 32-bit versions of operating systems. That’s wonderful when encoding HD video…*rolls eyes*
If you’re using Windows Media Player to watch the videos, it might have not have the proper codec installed for playback.
Download VLC Media Player and try watching them with that.
