camcorder user manual

bought a Canon DV camcorder with fireire lead, but can not find a port for the cable can u advise me?

We have a Fujitsu siemns SNR concordant 3865860261 PC and a laptop Advent bought in April 9617 I can not find a FireWire port anywhere – any advice would be appreciated – Can not find user manuals for or can I find books to read on the net? please help?
