Is there any quality difference between using DV and USB when copying video from a digital camcorder to PC?
I have a Samsung SC-D353 DV Camcorder. I copied video recorded on DV tape using USB and the software that comes with it, but image seems very blury and unsteady when played on PC than the original recording is played on TV through A/V cable. Is it all I can get or can I get a better quality by using DV port or S video? How can I get the best quality (close to that on TV) video recording on my PC to make a CD or DVD? Thank you in advance
yes u definatly can get much better quality! 
yes use the dv port only if ur computer has a dv port to match. i would also get a high quality cable from sony sonystyle.com its under camcorder assesories its ok if ur camera is samsung it will still work! if ya have windows use windows media maker with it, just to get it on ur computer then if u really want a great quality movie then use nero ultra 7 edition nero.com and use that to fine tune settings for video and audio. u might be able to use just the nero program to get the video on the computer but im not sure im just familar with the media maker well hope this helps
