camcorder recommendations

Looking for a decent camcorder? Any recommendations?

I am not necessarily looking for top of the line, but do want one that is EASY to use. I saw some that use a cd/ordvd -disc…I like the convenience of those. Any suggestions. If you need any clarifying info let me know.
