How can I get crystal clear sound for my own HDR-SR1? XLR adapter needed?
I have a Sony HDR-SR1 and I want a microphone ideal for crisp and clear audio. I heard that the microphones attached to the microphone jack is not as good as getting a XLR microphone adapter for the camera. Is this true? Can someone explain or link any information on this micro and adapter (if necessary) to be taken to achieve exceptional acoustics? Thanks for any help. I used the Sony Bluetooth Wireless Microphone with the HDR-SR1 with excellent results. That has a mount that goes in the shoe on the top of the video camera and then clip on the microphone that is trying to save. Work more than 50 feet of the camcorder, you do not have to deal with the child or the things to come off while saving.
