What’s a good lighting kit for film for beginners?
I have a contract to create and film a few local tv adds and I wanted to know what a good lighting kit would be. I want a hard case included in the kit, but its not super necessary. Also most of the shots with be done outside, with a few shots inside unlit buildings.
On a side note my team is about to buy the Sony HDR-FX7 HDV Hi-Def Camcorder if that makes a difference.

As time goes on, you will need more lighting, gels and light modifiers, but these two lights will certainly get you started. If you want to shoot chroma key setups, you will need additional lamps to provide even lighting on the background (usually four)
