What is the best video camera for under $ 200, and what is the reason for the price difference?
Looking for camcorder I use for family functions. I need you like something, do not want to spend an arm and a leg. I really do not understand the differences in most of them and see some less than a hundred dollars and some cost more than four. But I do not understand the difference! Any help is appreciated …
A basic MiniDV camcorder should do the job properly. Since a Canon ZR800 (ZR500 or there on the shelves). MiniDV is cheaper than DVD recorders or hard disk, and has several advantages over the following formats: the bands are the reusable framework you can buy more if run during your vacation, and recorded in DV format, which can be edited with precision image. Some cameras have 3 CCD rather than one that costs more, and should give a higher quality image. Some camcorders may have greater sensitivity to light, which would benefit from better performance indoors or at night. Now that high definition televisions are becoming common, I think the definition video cameras standard are becoming obsolete, so you do not want to spend money on others that are absolutely necessary. There are some decent HD camcorders that record to MiniDV from about $ 800 (Canon HV20).
