How can I take black and white photos with a Nikon P6000.?
I can not seem to find the way black and white image for the Nikon P6000, someone I tell you how to get there.
I know I'm strictly answer your question, but once you take a black and white in the camera, no way to get the background color. For added versatility, I recommend you take the picture in color and then use a photo editing software for converting black and white? If you do not have editing software Picasa 3 from Google is free to download and, among many other useful features, has an easy to use tool for the black and white conversion. You can experiment with different filters to the effect you are looking for and if you do not like the result, you can always go back and try again. My camera has a function of B & W, but still use Picasa to convert color images. Edit: Select "Picture Control" with the multi-selector. You should then have the option of "Standard", "neutral", "Vivid" and "Monochrome". Select the "Monochrome" for b & w photos.
